Blessed Ncube

Blessed Ncube

Blessed Ncube — Founder & Managing Partner

Blessed Ncube serves as Founder & Managing Partner of Benedetto Commodities Group, with operational responsibility for the firm's trade positions across upstream and downstream petroleum, precious metals and dry goods spanning Africa, the Middle East, South America and Eastern Europe. His role extends to capital allocation and management across each of Benedetto's divisions.

He is the founding Group Chief Executive of the ZARfrica Group, CentrePoint Capital Partners Zimbabwe, and Hurstbourne Blairmont Incorporated Zimbabwe — an astute corporate strategy, governance and project finance specialist, having authored business cases to World Bank standards in excess of R2 billion in committed value, and driving development-finance flows from the Arab world and Eastern Europe into African capital projects in energy, mining and infrastructure. Ncube was instrumental in providing strategic oversight of the Productive Participation Contracts for the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and has negotiated large energy-supply contracts in excess of USD 5 billion with the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA), PetroSA and Unión Cuba-Petróleo (CUPET) through EMM Merchandise — securing stable energy supply for Iran, Venezuela, South Africa and Cuba, respectively.

Ncube's CV also lists a current directorship at IntelTRADE Mokba, Moscow, Russia (2018–present).

Ncube has served on various executive committees and Boards of Governance in both classified and unclassified roles, spanning sporting, political, corporate, ecumenical and academic fora — including the KwaZulu-Natal Inland Cricket Union, the South African Communist Party, ZARfrica Group, the KwaZulu-Natal Christian Council, the KwaZulu-Natal Land Issues Programme, and the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

In 2016 Khumalo established Imbewu Yezwe Projects, moving the discipline and efficiency orientation of logistics into the construction industry. In 2020 Imbewu acquired one hundred per cent of Dreykon, forming what is today the largest Black-youth-owned construction entity in South Africa, with an order book of R3 billion and annual revenue of R350 million.
